Professor Christophe Jaffrelot is CERI-CNRS Senior Research Fellow and Professor of Politics at Sciences Po, Peris. Professor Jaffrelot is also a professor of Indian politics and Sociology at Kings College, London where he is the Research Lead for Global Institutes. His research delves into Hindu nationalism, democracy and lower caste mobilization in India as well as ethnic conflict in Pakistan. Professor Jaffrelot’s current research deals with sociology of Indian political personnel, the Dargahs of Ajmer, the India Pakistan relations, the political history of Gujarat and populist politics with special reference to the "Modi phenomenon".
Professor Asma Faiz is Associate Professor of Political Science at the MGSHSS, LUMS. Professor Faiz’s research focuses on ethnic nationalism, populism, ethnic parties and federalism.
