Nazish Afraz is a Teaching Fellow at the Department of Economics at the Lahore University of Management Sciences and Program Economist for the FCDO SEED Programme. She also teaches BCURE, a Harvard University-designed training program to equip civil servants to become more effective commissioners and consumers of evidence.
She has over twenty years of experience in teaching and in conducting research to support evidence-based public policymaking in the UK and in Pakistan. Nazish is an affiliate of the Consortium for Development Policy Research. Her research interests include industrial development, skills, and trade. Nazish has completed an MPhil in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Bristol, and an undergraduate degree from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
