Hassan Jaleel is an Assistant Professor at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Lahore, Pakistan. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) with specialization in Systems and Control from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA. Before joining LUMS, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST). His research interests are in the areas of real-time distributed optimization, game theory, and stochastic geometry. He is interested in designing learning mechanisms with global performance guarantees for self-interested agents in large-scale complex networks. Typical application domains of his research include swarm robotics, sensor networks, and irrigation networks. Jaleel was a Fulbright scholar from 2009–2013 and is a member of IEEE.
